Painted Beads
Painting in Miniature......
I started to experiment with painted beads in late spring of 2004.
My goal is to combine the color of the glass with the miniature painting - they should compliment one another. I believe the miniature paintings should show something of yourself, your perspective on life or who you are. In my case, it seems that the beads express an obtuse way of looking at the world, not realistic but colorful!
I use enamel pens in combination with the paints. Creating the Painted Beads is a multiple step process that includes drawing, painting and firing the miniature painting.
